Dr. Gregory Calloway
Dentist in Lee’s Summit
Dr. Gregory Calloway has returned home to Lee’s Summit to serve his local community with the specialized skills and care he has developed throughout his dental career. For him, dentistry is not just a job or career—it’s a passion. Dr. Calloway is a lifelong learner constantly training and expanding his knowledge in all fields of general dentistry, with a particular emphasis on dental implants.
In addition to being a prestigious Dawson Scholar, Dr. Calloway is board-certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is one of only a few dentists in Missouri with this distinction. His extensive training and expertise in dentofacial anatomy, occlusion, oral function, and facial aesthetics make him well-equipped to renew, rebuild, and restore even the most complex smiles. He places all dental implants and performs related procedures, including bone replacement, bone grafting, and complex restorative work.
Dr. Calloway is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), placing him among the leading experts in implant care worldwide.
At Summit Dental & Implant Clinic, Dr. Calloway embraces challenges that improve the lives of his patients. He is committed to making every visit both comfortable and enjoyable—leaving fear of the dentist in the past.
Dr. Calloway offers the highest quality dental care by listening to his patients in a way that cookie-cutter offices can’t. With him, you’ll never feel like just another number; each patient is treated like family.
Having grown up in Lee’s Summit, Dr. Calloway deeply loves his hometown. After graduating from Lee’s Summit High School, he attended the University of Missouri–Columbia and later attended dental school at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Dr. Calloway accepted a scholarship through the United States Navy and spent four years supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, which took him around the world, including a two-year tour on the USS Harry S. Truman, a nuclear aircraft carrier stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. This time allowed him to serve his country and receive extensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, and advanced restorative techniques.
Dr. Calloway’s passion for his patients and his craft is evident. While the State of Missouri requires a minimum of 50 hours of continuing education every two years, Dr. Calloway is on track to complete more than 300 hours this year alone!
When he isn’t focused on improving patient care, Dr. Calloway enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with his wife, Amber, and their two children, Cole and Olivia.
